What the RJB Energy website collects when you send a supply request, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and how to ask for deletion.

This page describes what the RJB Energy website does with information. It is written in plain language and has not been reviewed by a lawyer; the site owner should confirm it before relying on it as a formal policy.

What the site collects

Only the information you type into the supply request form on the contact page: business or station name, your name, email address, phone number, station city or town, the fuels you need, an optional monthly volume and optional notes, plus a record that you gave consent and when. The form also uses a security token and a hidden field to filter out automated spam; neither identifies you.

Why and who receives it

The details are used to review your request and to contact you about it. Each request is stored privately in the website’s database, where only site administrators can see it, and is emailed to the mailbox RJB Energy sets up to receive requests. Until that mailbox is set up, the form is switched off and nothing is collected. Requests are not sold, used for advertising or passed to other companies.

How long it is kept

A request is deleted automatically after 365 days. Administrators can delete it sooner.

Asking for deletion

Ask RJB Energy to delete your request using the contact details given if it contacts you. A public contact channel will be listed on the contact page once one exists.

Other things the site does

  • It loads no advertising, analytics, social media or third-party font or script files.
  • It sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. The only cookie is a functional one, sf_lead_r, set after you send the request form: for up to 10 minutes it lets the site show you the confirmation once, or give back what you typed if the form was rejected. It is not used for tracking.
  • Like any web server, it keeps technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
  • The site may be served through a content delivery and security service, which sees visitors’ IP addresses in order to deliver pages and block abuse.

Contact and changes

Questions about this page can be raised through the request form. If the way the site handles information changes, this page will be updated. You can also read what the site does and does not claim on the about page.
